BiocareUV is a UK-based company that works closely with the government and healthcare sectors to provide a solution to the ongoing health issues in the UK and the rest of the world. As a result of their Far UVC products, rooms and high-touch areas can be safely sanitised, preventing bacteria, viruses, and pathogens, such as Covid 19, MRSA and Norovirus, from entering each area.

The products that they produce come in a variety of different forms, from the handheld BioWAND unit that sanitises areas manually, to the BioLUME, which fits into the ceiling and continuously sanitises areas throughout the day.

What did they need?

A custom bag for the BiocareUV Wand

In order to accommodate the company’s BiocareUV Wand, they requested a custom bag with foam inserts. The BiocareUV Wand is a handheld device, and the battery unit is attached to the operator’s back by a strap.

The BiocareUV Wand works by waving it over the desired area, killing bacteria and viruses, and leaving spaces sanitised and safe.

In order to ensure we create a bag that is perfect for the customer’s needs, we sent over drawings of the proposed bag configurations and foam layout designs to the customer for approval before production began.

For the bag to correspond with the colours of the brand, it was requested that the foam interior of the bag is purple/black and the logo embroidered on the exterior in the company’s colours.

The protective bags were designed according to the above branding requests and gave extra protection during transportation. BiocareUV LTD was extremely happy with the design, and as a result, the company ordered five bags altogether.
